COUNCIL BLUFFS - The Iowa Central women were unable to start 2020 with a win, falling here Saturday to Iowa Western, 76-58.

The Reivers used a big second quarter, opening up a 10-point lead.

Justice Crooks scored 16 points, adding four rebounds, with Anni Cummings knocking down three 3-pointers and scoring nine. 

Jorgan Engbrecht and Avery Tilley each had eight points. Both Engbrecht and Aaliyah Hull had five rebounds each.

Iowa Central returns to action on Wednesday when they host Kirkwood inside Hodges Fieldhouse.
