Mardaeja Cross recorded a triple-double as the Iowa Central women posted an 84-70 victory over Little Priest Tribal Wednesday night inside Hodges Fieldhouse.

Cross, a sophomore, had 10 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists in the victory, as the Tritons improved to 11-7 overall and 3-2 in the ICCAC.

With the win, Iowa Central now stands third in the league race thanks in large part to a 9-2 record at home. They have won five of their last seven overall.

Isabell West had another double-double, scoring a game-high 27 points nad grabbing 12 rebounds with three assists. Anni Cummings scored 17 points and had four steals, Jordan Engbrecht had 10 points and Aaliyah Hull added six points with 11 rebounds. 

K'Breonna Collins chipped in 11 points and seven boards.

Next action for the Tritons will be Saturday when they host Des Moines Area at 1 p.m.
