Tritons hit road to face Ellsworth

IOWA FALLS - The Iowa Central women's and men's basketball teams will be in action here Wednesday night, facing Ellsworth in ICCAC play.

The doubleheader begins with the women's game at 5:30 p.m. Men will follow.

Kelly Kruger and the Iowa Central women (13-8 overall, 4-3 in ICCAC) are coming off a 75-53 victory at Marshalltown this past weekend for their second road win of the year. 

Isabell West leads the team in scoring at 13.5 points per game with Mardaeja Cross and Aaliyah Hull adding nine a night. 

Ellsworth (0-19, 0-7) has yet to break into the win column, averaging just 46 points per game. 

First-year head coach Chad Helle and the Iowa Central men (8-12, 2-4) are seeking a third road victory. They bested the William Penn JV this past weekend.

Andrew Gibb leads three players in double figures at 16.4 points per game with Zack Foulks checking in at 14 and Marquis Henry at just under 11. Jeremiah Hurst averages 9.9 per contest.

Ellsworth (10-11, 1-5) is 7-4 at home on the year, but has dropped its last three.
