The Iowa Central women suffered a rare home loss here Saturday, falling to Iowa Lakes, 59-47.

Isabell West continued her strong freshman season, scoring 16 points with eight rebounds, four assists and two steals to lead the Tritons. Jordan Engbrecht added 15 points, seven rebounds and two steals, with Mardaeja Cross chipping in seven points, three assists and two rebounds. 

Aaliyah Hull added eight boards and both Anni Cummings and K'Breonna Collins had five rebounds each. 

The loss was just the third in 13 games at Hodges Fieldhouse this season for Iowa Central, as they are now 14-9 overall and 5-4 in the ICCAC.

Next up for the Tritons will be a Wednesday contest with Southwestern at home.
