The Iowa Central women were unable to take advantage of a big first quarter, falling to Southwestern Wednesday night inside Hodges Fieldhouse, 58-46.

The Tritons led 21-13 after the first, but would score just 25 points the rest of the way, falling to 14-10 overall and 5-5 in the ICCAC.

Anni Cummings led the way with 15 points, Mardaeja Cross added 13 with five rebounds and five assists, and Isabell West scored 10 with nine boards, three assists, three blocks and two steals.

Iowa Central will try to bounce back when they head to Little Priest Tribal Wednesday.
