ST. PETER, Minn. - The 18th-ranked Iowa Central women closed out 2021 with a bang.

Behind 21 points from both Autumn Dykstra and Nevaeh Galloway, the Tritons improved to 13-0 with an 85-57 victory over Minnesota West here Friday at the Minnesota West Classic.

Dykstra knocked down five 3-pointers as Iowa Central shot 52 percent from the field and made 10 triples as a team.

Ashley Fountain scored 13 points with eight rebounds and four assists, Emma Scurek added 12 and Carley West dished out seven assists with seven rebounds.

The Tritons outscored Minnesota West 14-6 in the second quarter to take control of the contest.

Iowa Central returns to ICCAC play and Hodges Fieldhouse on Wednesday when they host North Iowa Area at 5:30 p.m.
