MARSHALLTOWN - The Iowa Central women scored a 62-59 victory over Marshalltown here Monday night in a makeup contest originally scheduled for earlier this season.

Carley West scored 22 points, Autumn Dykstra had 14 and Nevaeh Galloway eight with 10 rebounds and three assists. West had 17 of her points in the opening half. 

Tied at 19 after the first, the Tritons (20-2 overall, 10-2 in ICCAC) took a five-point lead into the half. Iowa Central led by seven going to the fourth before the Tigers made it close. 

West also had eight rebounds, three assists and two steals, while Jayden Frank recorded seven points, 11 rebounds and three assists. 

Emma Scurek chipped in five points, six rebounds and three steals. 

For Marshalltown (6-16, 3-9), three players scored 13 points each.

Iowa Central returns to action on Saturday when they host "Jam the Gym" vs. No. 2 Kirkwood inside Hodges Fieldhouse at 1 p.m.
