NORFOLK, Neb. - The Iowa Central women will get the chance to avenge their loss Wednesday night.

The Tritons were downed by Northeast, 62-58, in the regular season finale for the two teams.

Iowa Central will now host the Hawks on Wednesday in the Region XI Tournament inside Hodges Fieldhouse beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Carley West had 26 points and Nevaeh Galloway added 12 for the Tritons, with Autumn Dykstra scoring nine and Taylor McKinney six. Galloway had eight rebounds and both West and Frank had six.

For Northeast, Ashley Hassett scored 34 points. The Hawks were plus-11 from the free throw line.

Kirkwood earned the No. 1 seed and will face either Southwestern or Des Moines Area. Iowa Lakes vs. North Iowa Area and Iowa Western vs. Southeastern are the other two quarterfinal round matchups.
