Boone - The Iowa Central Women couldn't get past No. 18 (NJCAA) DMACC here Saturday.

The Tritons (18-7 overall) shot 81 percent from the line and outscored DMACC in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough to make up the deficit to get past the Bears, who won the contest 81-69.

Kaitlyn Tendal led the Tritons with 20 points. Emily Theiss had 13 points and Laney Pilcher had 12 for the Tritons. Alicia Hatlestad added 10 and Laney Maehl had nine points off the bench.

The Tritons' schedule keeps getting tougher as they face No. 6 Iowa Western at home in a 5:30 p.m. contest in Hodges Fieldhouse on Wednesday. The Reivers won the last meeting with the Tritons 72-67 on December 17.
