Tritons Welcome Area Schools to Hodges for "Education Day"

With area students from St. Edmond and Manson Northwest-Webster in attendance to cheer on the Tritons for "Education Day", the Triton Women fell to Grand View JV, 83-75.

Trailing 67-55 after three quarters, the Tritons outscored the Vikings 20-16 in the fourth, but couldn't get closer than eight. Ashlin Jacobsen scored a season high 27 points off the bench to lead the Tritons. Along with her 27 points, Jacobsen added 4 four rebounds. Lainey Maehl added 15 points and Amaya Terrell had six points, seven assists, and 5 rebounds. 

As a team, the Tritons outrebounded the Vikings, 44-29, and shot nearly 48% from the field in the loss. 

"We just want to thank the community of Fort Dodge and our participating schools for attending this year's Education Day game!" said Triton Head Coach, Sabah Dickerson. "The kids brought so much energy to Hodges Fieldhouse and we are grateful for spending the morning with them. We hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday and we'll be back in Hodges on Saturday!" 

The Tritons are back in Hodges Fieldhouse on Saturday (11/30) for a matchup with Waldorf JV. Tip is set for 1:00 PM
