Wichita State swept both the men's and women's team titles. The format included five traditional games followed by 16 Baker games with total pinfall determining the champion in each division.

The Triton men placed seventh overall as the top two-year program. Iowa Central was two spots ahead of Iowa Western, finishing with an overall total of 7,257.

On the women's side, the Tritons fired a total of 7,149 for ninth overall, one spot ahead of Iowa Western and again the top two-year program at the meet.

Leading the way for the men's team was Raymond Wiegand, as the sophomore placed eighth overall. He had an overall total of 1,038 with a high-game of 247 and an average of 207.6.
