SPENCER - The Iowa Central women's golf team started play in their final tournament of the fall here Monday.

Megan Hinker of Dakota Wesleyan jumped out to a first round lead with a round of 78 as her team also sits first ahead of Briar Cliff, Iowa Lakes and Des Moines Area. 

For the Tritons, Ella Dinsdale carded a 105 and Korie Norris a 127 at the Spencer Golf and Country Club.

Second round action begins on Tuesday.
