The sixth-ranked Iowa Central wrestling team split with Minnesota West and No. 2 North Iowa Area here Wednesday night inside Hodges Fieldhouse.

After besting Minnesota West 50-3, the Tritons were unable to get on track vs. the Trojans, falling 27-9.

In the dual with Minnesota West, Couy Weil, Maddy Roney, Bret Minor, Drevon Ross, Andrew Gamble, Ashton Eyler, Anthony Johnson, Kade Hovey and Boone McDermott all picked up wins. Johnson and McDermott had the two victories vs. NIACC.

Iowa Central returns to the mats on Saturday in Storm Lake at the Buena Vista Open.
