Jon Jones once graced the Iowa Central wrestling room, helping the Tritons claim NJCAA gold.

Now, Jones is regarded as one of the best MMA fighters in the world.

Jones earned another title defense Saturday night at UFC 247, besting Dominick Reyes via decision. The bout served as the main event from Houston.

With the win, "Bones" picked up his 14th victory in a title fight, setting a new UFC record. He is 26-1 overall with one no-contest. 

Jones was a 2006 NJCAA All-American and national champion for the Tritons.
