The Iowa Central Men's Wrestling Team competed at the BVU Open at Buena Vista University on Saturday December 2.

At 125 pounds, Trentin Walker finished in sixth place. Walker was defeated by fall by Briar Cliff's Dante Regal in the fifth place match. Angel Benegas lost by technical fall to Simpson's Kanin Hable in the 125 B consolation bracket.

Jamey Bruner won his match by major decision over Juan Lugo of Briar Cliff to take third place in the 133 pound bracket.

Kaden Hawkins-Hinson finished in sixth place at 141 pounds. He was defeated by technical fall in the sixth place match.

Justice Hefley won his seventh place match by forfeit at 149 pounds and Michael Myers also finished in seventh place at 165 pounds with a technical fall over Buena Vista's Jonah Siebert.

Joseph Sanders finished in eighth place at 285 pounds. He was defeated by fall by Simpson's Troy Galloway in the seventh place match.
