Iowa Central's Moffitt Named ICCAC Wrestling Coach of the Year

Iowa Central's Luke Moffitt is the ICCAC Wrestling Coach of the Year.

Iowa Central Head Wrestling Coach Luke Moffitt earned ICCAC postseason honors this season.

For Coach Moffitt, it is his third time winning the award, as he took home the honor back in 2018 and 2021.

Luke Moffitt once again had his wrestlers going in the right direction during another season. In his 20th season as head coach, Moffitt has been nothing but consistent. Iowa Central has finished second in the past three seasons in the conference dual standings, while this year they bridged the gap to capture first.

Their North Central District Championship title was their first since 2019.

Currently, Moffitt has his Tritons ranked sixth in the NJCAA as of February 9th. So far this season, Iowa Central has won the ICCAC Regular Season Title, NJCAA District Championship, and has 10 wrestlers qualified for NJCAA National Championship.

The Tritons will try to win their first national championship since 2017.
