MASON CITY - The Iowa Central women's soccer team rebounded from a tough loss, besting North Iowa Area here Saturday, 4-0.

Julia Herbst, who entered the game having scored six times already this season, quickly gave the Tritons (2-1 overall, 2-1 in ICCAC) the lead with her 32nd career goal. She later added another off an assist from Abigail Dalebout.

In the second half, Jeannette Scholz did the damage, recording two goals. 

Jasmine Kurufher had her second clean sheet of the season in net for Iowa Central, who returns home to host Southeastern on Tuesday at Rogers Sports Complex. 

"It was a great bounce-back game," Iowa Central head coach Jared Beauchamp said. "We are looking forward to next week and continuing to get better."
