SPENCER - The Iowa Central women's soccer team continued their winning ways here Thursday, posting a 3-1 victory over Iowa Lakes.

The Tritons have now won three in a row, outscoring those three opponents 12-3. 

Flavie Sallaz got Iowa Central (4-1 overall, 4-1 in ICCAC) off to a 1-0 lead with an early goal. Julia Herbst recorded the assist. 

It was Herbst's turn in the second half, as she scored off an assist from Elicia Mulvaney. The sophomore standout added her second goal of the match - and 11th of the season - later in the second half. 

Herbst now has 36 career goals in 19 matches for the Tritons.

Jasmine Kurufher picked up another win in net. 

Next action for Iowa Central will be Wednesday when they host No. 5 Iowa Western at Rogers Sports Complex beginning at 3 p.m.
