OTTUMWA - Playing another ranked opponent, the Iowa Central women's soccer team came up short here Saturday, falling to No. 7 Indian Hills, 3-0.
The Warriors (13-0 overall, 3-0 in ICCAC) were able to get three first half goals by the Triton defense and keeper Isabella Chianta.
Over the final 45 minutes, though, Chianta blocked six shots.
Magley Orellana had a shot on goal and Katie Bennett also recorded a shot for Iowa Central.
Bailey Wiemann had a hat trick for Indian Hills, who attempted 23 shots including nine on goal. Elisabeth Plouy had an assist.
The Tritons head to Spencer to face Iowa Lakes on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
