Triton Head Coach, Jordan Sibenallar was awarded the final 2024 conference honor, his first ICCAC Division II Soccer Coach of the Year award.
"Jordan has done a phenomenal job of leading our women's soccer program in his short time as our head coach." said Iowa Central Athletic Director, Kevin Twait on Sibenallar's award. "He has a vision for where he wants to take the program and a plan to get there. Jordan knows the sport of soccer very well. More importantly he relates well to the student-athletes in our program and has tremendous recruiting skills. Both he and assistant coach, Maathan Kotts, are tireless workers and have really pushed our program forward to new heights. The students in our program enjoy playing soccer for him and it shows in their practices and competitions."
The Tritons finished their season with a 8-0-1 conference record, a 9-5-3 overall record, and ranked # 8 in the country in the final NJCAA poll. They won their first regular season conference title since 2015 and secured the #1 seed in the Region 11 Tournament.
Triton Head Coach, Jordan Sibenaller, reflected on this year's team is excited for the 2025 season. "I am very proud of our team and their determination. We started our season against the best competition in the country, facing the #1, #2, and #3 teams in three of our first five games. It was a tough stretch for us and made us develop quickly." said Sibinaller. "My assistant coach, Matthan Kots, deserves a lot of credit for developing our players in the off-season. He does a wonderful job in the weight room and with our conditioning program to get our players as fit as possible. We are very excited for next season, as we return a large and very talented freshman class. We will miss these sophomores and we're thankful to have had such a devoted group."
