The Iowa Central tennis team kicked off the spring portion of their schedule in style, competing against several NAIA programs.

During the month of February, the Tritons had matches with Luther, Grand View, Midland, Morningside and Mount Marty.

In five matches against NAIA schools, the Iowa Central women went 29-1 in singles matches and 15-0 in doubles. Both teams earned sweeps over Mount Marty, 7-0.

The Tritons also picked up 7-0 (women) and 6-1 (men) victories against Morningside recently.

Iowa Central now heads to Perkinston, Miss. for the Mississippi JUCO Tour, competing March 3-7. 

The NJCAA Div. I Women's Tennis Championship is set for April 30-May 6 in Mesa, Ariz. and the NJCAA Div. I Men's Tennis Championship is scheduled for May 17-21 in Plano, Tex.
