Tina Samson and the Iowa Central Track & Field squad traveled north to South Dakota State for the Jim Emmerich Invitational on Saturday, January 20. The Triton sophomore had a very busy meet. 

She participated in the long jump, the 200 Meters and the 4x400 Meter Relay. In the long jump she leapt 5.99 meters which took home first place. 

She leads the NJCAA in the event so far this season and put herself at No. 3 all time in Iowa Central history. 

In the 200 Meters, Samson ran a 26.28 which took home 10th place and the 4x400 team took home seventh place. 

A solid day for the jack-of-many-trades.
