"I am very pleased with the outcome from both our meets this weekend.  We were very intentional with what we were trying to accomplish with our event groups at each location. The throwers, mid-distance and distance groups all achieved some all-time marks in school history and added to our list of national qualifiers," said Director of Track and Field, Dee Brown. "Housem Hrabi won two events and qualified in both which really removes a lot of pressure as he has checked both of those off.  Jed Elmbarki looked amazing in his first competition after a season ending injury in the fall of 2022 which cost him his entire track season last year. Jadon Boots continues to reap the benefits of his hard work."

The Tritons will split squads one more time next weekend as a group will compete at the University of Nebraska's Husker Invite and the rest of the team will head to Mankato, MN to compete in the Ted Nelson Classic hosted by Minnesota State Mankato.
