Tina Samson had a big week for Iowa Central's Track and Field Team. Samson and the Tritons traveled North to Minneapolis, Minnesota for the Jack Johnson Classic. Samson was in the Pentathlon where she was the top NJCAA finisher and also set a personal record with a score of 3514. These results from this past week also boosted Samson in the NJCAA Pentathlon to first place and now leads by 100 points. Samson wasn't done yet, as she also ran the 60-meter dash where she finished third with a time of 7.83. Though it was a third place finish, she was the top NJCAA finisher in the race.
