Tina Samson is your 2024 indoor pentathlon national champion after a first place finish last week in Gainsville, Fla. at the NJCAA National Championships. 

She took fifth in the 60-Meter hurdles, third in the high jump, second in the shot put, first in long jump and second in the 800-Meter run. 

In total, she scored 3647 points and beat out Maliyah Ross of Mesa by 123 points. 

Samson earned another two points for Iowa Central in the long jump (stand alone event) after a seventh place finish.
