ICCAC Athlete of the Week Honors for Hutchinson

Abbigail Hutchinson – Iowa Central – Freshman – 5000 Meters, Mile, Pole Vault, 3000 Meters, Triple Jump
Iowa Central's Abbigail Hutchinson had a great week as she set personal bests in the 5000 Meters, Mile and Pole Vault events at the Region 11 Championships. Iowa Central finished runner-up as a team only 10 points behind Iowa Western and Hutchinson was behind 33 of those points, more than anyone else --- male or female -- at the meet. She placed second in the 3000 Meters and Mile and third in the 5000 Meters and Pole Vault. In the Triple Jump, she got sixth. What a fun, active day for the freshman.
