The 18th-ranked Iowa Central volleyball team swept both the Briar Cliff JV and Dakota County Friday night in their Hodges Fieldhouse debut for the 2019 season.

The Tritons claimed a sweep over Briar Cliff, 25-15, 25-18 and 25-18. Kealey Anderson had 12 kills, Amaya Finley added 10 and both Shay Karmazyn and Abbie Stewart had six each.

Katie Godfredsen recorded 18 assists and Hannah Huss had 20 digs. Iowa Central had 14 assisted blocks as a team.

In the match with Dakota County, the Tritons won 25-18, 25-14 and 25-20. Finley had seven kills with both Delaney Spinks and Anderson adding six each.

Godfredsen had 16 assists, Alesha Johnson eight and Anderson led the team with 15 digs. Finley and Godfredsen each had 10 digs.

Haley Alharithy had four solo blocks.

Iowa Central returns to action Wednesday, September 4 when they host Ellsworth at 7 p.m.
