Iowa Central freshman Haley Alharithy had an impressive first few weeks of action for the Triton volleyball team.

Along with helping them to a 6-1 start, Alharithy picked up NJCAA Div. II Defensive Player of the Week honors. 

Alharithy ranks fifth in the nation in blocks per set at 1.53, is 18th in the nation in block assists and is 24th in total blocks. 

She recorded six block assists vs. both Marshalltown and the Briar Cliff JV, getting five more in one match and four solo blocks vs. Dakota County to go along with four assists.
