Win Streak reached 14 For No. 14 Tritons

Tritons ranked in NJCAA preseason Top-20

WAHPETON, N.D. ä The No. 14 Iowa Central volleyball team pushed their win streak to 14 consecutive matches with two more victories here Saturday at the North Dakota Science Invitational.

The Tritons downed Bismarck State (25-19, 25-15, 26-28, 22-25, 15-8) and the host, North Dakota Science (25-21, 18-25, 15-25, 25-21, 15-11) to improve to 16-1 overall.

Kealey Anderson recorded 25 kills and 20 digs vs. Bismarck State, with Amaya Finley adding 16 kills and 25 digs.

Taylor Light had 11 kills, Haley Alharithy 10 and Abbie Stewart eight. Taylor Bienemann recorded 39 digs and Alesha Johnson had 63 assists with 16 digs. Hannah Huss added 13 digs.

In the match with 19th-ranked North Dakota Science, Anderson had 21 kills with both Finley and Light adding 16 each. Johnson had 47 assists, Bienemann 20 digs and Alharithy two solo blocks.

Next action for Iowa Central is set for Wednesday when they host Hawkeye inside Hodges Fieldhouse at 7 p.m.
