Olivia Sturgis had a solid Region 11 Tournament as she helped the Tritons to overcome many good opponents to win the Region 11 Title. In the region semifinals Sturgis had 11 kills en route to beating Kirkwood 3-1 to advance to the region final. In the final, Sturgis and the Tritons faced the No. 1 seeded DMACC team that fought through five sets. The Tritons ended up winning 3-2 and claimed the Region 11 Title. Along with winning the title, the Tritons are now qualified for the National Tournament. Sturgis had a total of 26 kills in the Region 11 Tournament and was named the 2023 Division II Volleyball Region 11 Tournament MVP.
