Mya McClain is making a second appearance as an ICCAC Athlete of the Week following an impressive Region 11 Tournament. Over three matches McClain averaged 18 digs a game with an impressive finals performance against DMACC. In the Region 11 Final McClain had 24 digs in a game that finished 3-2 in favor of the Tritons. After winning the Region 11 Championship McClain and the Tritons will now travel to Cedar Rapids to participate in the National Tournament for the fourth consecutive season. Their best finish in that span was third place back in Spring 2021 -- last year they took seventh.
