Gabby Marker (Sullivan) is entering her 5th season with the Triton Volleyball coaching staff. Marker was named the AVCA Assistant Coach of the Year after her first season with the Tritons in 2021.

Marker played for the Tritons in 2016 and 2017, leading Iowa Central to the NJCAA Div. II National Tournament in 2017. She accounted for 682 kills during the year, which ranked second in the nation at an average of 4.49 kills per set. The Tritons went 32-11 and placed 10th at nationals. Marker also averaged 2.55 digs per set and scored 767 points, which ranked second in the country. 

In 2017, Marker was named as a first team AVCA All-American, becoming the first Triton player to earn the honor. She holds the single-season record for kills per set and total attacks along with the single-match kills record at 43. During her two years at Iowa Central, Marker averaged 3.62 kills and 1.87 digs per set while helping the program win 59 matches.

Marker then transferred to Wayne State College in Nebraska where she played with the perennial NCAA D2 powerhouse Wildcats. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management and her Master's Degree in Organizational Management.   

While at Allen Consolidated School in Allen, Nebraska, Marker was a three-sport standout in volleyball, basketball and track and field. She was a three-time all-Lewis and Clark Conference first team selection in basketball and was two-time first team all-conference volleyball. She qualified for the Class D state track meet in high jump three times and triple jump once, placing seven as a junior in the high jump.

Marker is also an activities and recreation coordinator at Iowa Central.  She lives near Fort Dodge with her husband, Tanner.
