2019 Season Outlook

2019 Season Outlook

The 2019 version of the Iowa Central Community College Triton Marching Band is excited to start camp on August 14th, and to return to Dodger Stadium for the first home game of the season on Saturday August 31st.

Again the band will be performing multiple halftime shows this fall.  The first show planned to be performed is "Pop Rock Obsession".  Fans will be able to hear the music of Fall Out Boy with The Last Of The Real Ones and Panic! At The Disco favorites High Hopes and Say Amen (Saturday Night) at home games on August 31, September 5, and November 9.   Top recent hits will be featured during "Billboard's Hot 100" in our halftime shows on September 7 and October 26, including Girls Like You by Maroon 5,  Sucker from the Jonas Brothers, and No Tears Left To Cry by Ariana Grande.

Once again, halftime is not the only time you hear the band during home games at Dodger Stadium.  Just like any university, game day is a full experience for Triton Nation.  Fans will definitely want to make sure they're in their seats at least 10 minutes prior to kick off to see our pregame show, featuring the Iowa Central Dance Team, Triton Cheer, and various Iowa Central athletic teams assisting with our 1,800 square foot American flag and more!

Student leadership this fall will be led by Drum Majors Alex Dischler of Fort Dodge, IA, Mariah Fails from Lake Mills, IA  and Kylee Shannon of Storm Lake, IA.

The Triton Marching Band is also excited for the number of opportunities to perform away from the home football schedule.  Exhibition performances will take place in Fort Dodge for the North Central Iowa Band Invitational on September 28th, and for Algona Band Day on October 5th.   The band will take its music on the road to a number of area high schools in short run out performances September and October, so look out for the band at schools, parades, games and more.

After an exciting finish to last fall, we're hopeful to finish the season with another bowl game performance!

Go Tritons!
