The Triton Marching Band supports Iowa Central events during the fall semester.  The Triton Marching Band is open to all students regardless of major.  Iowa Central offers scholarship opportunities to members who are interested and meet audition requirements.  Marching Band at Iowa Central is a great way to make contact with more students, having fun making music with your friends!  Our goal is to entertain, providing the atmosphere and energy of a contemporary college marching band.

Members are required to take part in all performances, which include…

• All home football games. (We march on field turf at historic Dodger Stadium in Fort Dodge)
• Potential post season play off and bowl games.
• Campus events (We play for senior visit days and homecoming pep rallies each year)
• Area and community events. (We’ve played numerous times for the Algona Band Day Parade and the FDSH Homecoming parade.  Each year we play for various high school football games, parades and other events)
• Potential road game trips to away football games

The Pep Band supports Iowa Central events during the winter, and the spring semester.  We provide an atmosphere like no other as we support the Triton Men and Women’s Basketball teams.

Performances include…

• Selected home basketball games during November and December
• Home basketball games during January and February at Hodges Fieldhouse on campus
• Potential post season play off and national tournament games
• Road trip performances with the Iowa Energy NBA D-League team in Des Moines
• Campus, area, and community events and functions as requested
